An exciting opportunity is available to join the catering team aboard Scenic Luxury Cruises, one of the world's leading luxury cruise operators. We are recruiting 13 qualified African candidates for food and beverage operations on board our luxury cruise ships operating internationally.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 23 years of age or older
• Must be an African national
• Fluent in Kiswahili and English (both spoken and written)
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a waiter/waitress or in professional food & beverage service
• Certificate in Catering and Accommodation (Operations or Management Level 5 or Level 6) is mandatory
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Physically fit and able to work long shifts in a fast-paced hospitality setting

Preferred Experience

Successful candidates should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Luxury hotel or cruise ship hospitality
• Fine dining restaurant service
• Banquet and buffet operations
• Silver service and table service
• Food production and preparation
• Kitchen operations and galley support
• HACCP food safety standards
• Food storage, hygiene, and sanitation
• Inventory and stock control
• Beverage service
• Room service operations
• Guest relations and VIP service
• Team-based hospitality operations
