About the Opportunity

A primary school is seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Primary School English Teacher to deliver engaging English lessons to young learners online. This position is fully remote, allowing you to teach from your home while working with students in China through live virtual classrooms.

Minimum Requirements

• Female candidates preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Native English speaker preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of English teaching experience, preferably at primary school level.
• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, Teaching License, TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent).
• Remote Teaching Certificate or recognized Online Teaching Certification is mandatory.
• Experience teaching through Zoom or similar virtual classroom platforms.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Laptop or desktop computer with webcam, microphone, and headset.
• Quiet, professional teaching environment.
• Police Clearance Certificate / Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live English lessons to primary school students via Zoom.
• Create engaging, interactive, and student-centred online lessons.
• Prepare lesson plans and digital teaching materials.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain student attendance and academic records.
• Participate in virtual staff meetings and professional development sessions.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging online classroom environment.

Working Schedule

• Monday to Friday.
• Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (China Time).
• Maximum 15 live teaching hours per week.
• No office attendance required.

Salary & Benefits

After-tax salary: RMB 14,000–14,500 per month, remote work from home, winter holiday allowance (RMB 3,500), summer holiday allowance (RMB 7,000) upon contract renewal, paid winter and summer camp opportunities, professional development, flexible online teaching environment.
